Life with an iPhone...

I have had my iPhone for about a month now and I thought I would list a few pros and cons, and also some thoughts about it based on previous phones I have owned.

Pros:
- Even though I own a 3G 20GB iPod, I now watch DiggNation video podcasts on my iPhone just about daily until I catch up to the current episode.
- The data is not as slow as you might think. I was at a local SCCA autocross a week ago and I was showing a kid the YouTube app on the phone and short Family Guy clips were loading fast enough to buffer without needing to stop mid video.
- Call audio is as good as any other Cingular/AT&T phone I have used before.
- WiFi speeds average about 3.6Mbps on my wireless router at home, with a peak measurement of 5.2Mbps. Measurement made through the Safari browser on the iPhone.
- Less reboots than my past WM phones.
- I use the alarm clock feature daily.
- The new IMAP email with Google is great. The email client on the iPhone is much nicer than that of the Treo 750 and Cingular 3125 I used before it. The Treo 750 would kill the battery when the email was setup on the phone.
- The only scratches on the phone are the Apple logo on the back.

Cons:
- Auto Spell Checking can be a pain at times.
- Can not use with sightless operation, i.e. can not use it without looking at the phone. I remember many of my past phones, you could pick them up and remember where all the buttons were and the thumb strokes to do things.
- No 3G.
- My roommate has a big grip that there is no A2DP support, but that is not a big deal to me.

Past phones I have used in order (new to old):
- Treo 750 (PPC WM5) - Cingular
- Cingular 3125 (SP WM5) - Cingular
- Audiovox SMT5600 (SP WM2003SE) - Cingular
- Treo 650 (Palm) - Sprint
- Sanyo flip phone - Sprint
- Motorola Startac - Sprint
